OffroadHQ and DRT Motorsports at the 2024 Red Bull Sand Scramble

OffroadHQ took part in the 2024 Red Bull Sand Scramble, held in the dunes of Glamis, California. Two Polaris RZR Pro Rs carried the OffroadHQ name, prepared in partnership with DRT Motorsports, the team behind some of the billet parts we carry.

The drivers

Maddie Wedeking drove one car, bringing her experience in desert racing. Matt Lasher drove the other. You can see how Maddie's car is set up, from the PRP cockpit to the Baja Designs lighting, in Maddie's Pro R build.

Working with DRT Motorsports

DRT Motorsports designs and manufactures off-road components, including billet protection, bumpers and mud flaps for the Pro R. Both cars were prepared with DRT's help for the soft sand and steep dunes of Glamis.

The Red Bull Sand Scramble is one of the premier off-road events of the year, held in the Glamis dunes and drawing competitors and fans from across the country. Soft sand and steep dunes make it a hard test for any machine.
